A painting and a framed cover of HIT: Once Upon a Field are included in the ‘Voices of Didsbury’ exhibition at Didsbury Arts Festival this year.
Didsbury Arts Festival 2023 opened its doors on June 24, with artwork by Stephen Reding featuring in the ‘Voices of Didsbury’ exhibition.
Stephen’s impressive music-themed painting, Untitled 67, is being exhibited at Next Door Gallery on Burton Road in West Didsbury for the duration of the festival, which runs from Saturday, June 24 to Sunday, July 2.

South Manchester artist
Stephen Reding was born in Stockport, Greater Manchester, in 1976. His life is chronicled in HIT: ONCE UPON A FIELD, an illustrated biography by James Walker.
The painting on display Untitled 67, is featured in HIT: ONCE UPON A FIELD. The South Manchester locales of Didsbury, Cheadle, and Chorlton are also featured in the book, making the Didsbury Arts Festival the perfect place to showcase Stephen’s art.
Everyone is welcome to visit the gallery and see one of Stephen Reding’s paintings in full detail. Paperback copies of HIT are also available to buy at the gallery.
